COVID-19 Office Updates

April 29, 2020

Dear Patients and Friends,

We hope you are staying well during this unprecedented time. We have been preparing to reopen the office so that we can continue to meet your eye care needs. Gradually the office is sending out reminders for patients who were due for yearly exams in April and May. At this time, Northshore Optometry doctors and staff hope to physically be in the office again on May 18th. Thank you to everyone who has patiently been waiting for routine care to resume. We plan to call everyone on our list of patients we canceled due to “Stay Home, Stay Safe” orders very soon. We are answering our phones remotely to help you with emergency calls and schedule your appointments and order contacts for you when needed.

Our office will be taking as many precautions as possible to make Northshore a safe environment for our patients and staff. We will be scheduling all in-person visits to the office, including eyeglass repairs, pickups, and adjustments. We will also be wearing masks since we are in an enclosed space and will require our patients to do the same. We ask that you limit the number of people you bring with you to the office when possible. We will be thoroughly disinfecting all surfaces and washing our hands frequently in addition to wearing gloves inappropriate situations. Please let us know how we can be of assistance to you. We look forward to helping you see your best and keep your eyes healthy in the near future.

Sincerely,

Northshore Optometry
